A single tank of gasoline produces about 8kWh, enough to run typical household appliances for around 8 hours at 25% load, and a 20lb propane tank stretches that to about 24kWh. Night-care mode quiets it down for overnight charging, and PV-priority mode leans on solar first to save fuel whenever there's sun to use.
