Anker SOLIX E10 · Whole-home backup

When the grid goes down, your house stays on.

During this year's storms, Hawaiian Electric reported hundreds of thousands of customers without power. The families with whole-home backup finished cooking dinner. The E10 takes over in less than 20 milliseconds when the grid drops, fast enough that your clocks don't reset and your fridge never notices.

What it does

The features, in plain terms.

The switch

Under 20ms switchover

A human blink takes about 100 milliseconds. When the grid drops, the E10 takes over in under 20. Clocks do not reset, wifi does not drop, the freezer never knows.

Storm season

Storm Guard mode

Give it your address and it watches National Weather Service alerts. When a warning goes up, it charges the batteries to full automatically, so the storm arrives to a full bank.

The hard load

Central A/C start

Anker rates the surge to start a 5-ton central A/C with enough battery packs attached. Two units can start a 5-ton and a 3-ton at the same time.

Your call

Manual off-grid

One toggle in the app cuts the grid and runs the house on stored and solar power alone.

Your bill

Time-of-Use savings

If your rate plan charges more at peak hours, the E10 can charge when power is cheap and carry the house when it is expensive.

In a hurry

Rapid Charging

A manual mode that pulls the batteries to full at top speed when you want backup ready now, not on a schedule.

The quiet one

No engine noise

No motor, no fumes, no drone. It holds the house in silence while the generators start up down the street.

Outside, in weather

Built for outdoors

NEMA 4 rated against wind driven rain. It lives outside on the floor stand or wall mounted, no garage required.

Play with the numbers

Your batteries. Your appliances. Your runtime.

Each B6000 battery pack holds about 6.1kWh, and one E10 takes up to five. Pick your battery count, tap what you'd run in an outage, and watch the runtime move.

Battery packs

What are you running?

Typical household draws; your appliances will vary. Bring your real list to the store and we'll run your exact numbers.

System capacity18.4 kWh
Your daily use8.2 kWh/day
2.2
DAYS ON BATTERY ALONE

Add solar panels and the sun refills the bank every morning, stretching this through a long outage.

Estimates only: figures use nominal battery capacity and typical appliance draws. Real-world runtimes are usually 10 to 15% lower after inverter losses, and your appliances vary. Call (808) 833-3797 for exact sizing.

What the system is

Five parts, one job: keep the house on.

Anker SOLIX E10 Power ModuleThe brain

E10 Power Module

The inverter and controller. It watches the grid, converts battery and solar power into house power, and makes the under-20ms switchover decision so you never notice the outage.

Anker SOLIX B6000 battery moduleThe tank

B6000 Battery Module

A 6.1kWh LFP battery pack with EV-class cells and a 10-year design life. Stack up to five per unit, and add more later without replacing anything.

Anker SOLIX Smart Inlet Box or Power DockThe handshake

Smart Inlet Box or Power Dock

The connection to your home's panel, installed once by an electrician. The Power Dock also lets systems grow to multiple E10 units for larger homes.

Anker SOLIX Smart Generator (optional)The insurance policy

Smart Generator (optional)

For the worst-case week with no sun, a compatible smart generator tops the batteries automatically. Most homes never need it; it's there for the ones that do.

Anker SOLIX The dollyOn wheels

The dolly

The module-and-battery stack rides a dolly, which is what makes the starter setup below possible: real backup power that isn't bolted to a wall.

We size it to your home

We look at your panel, your bills, and what you refuse to lose in an outage, then quote the system as a complete project. Honestly, including when a smaller setup is all you need.

Delivery and setup, handled

The E10 isn't a box you carry out. Your quote covers getting it to your home and set up properly.

The next outage is boring

The grid drops, the E10 takes over, and dinner keeps cooking. That's the whole point.

Is it right for you?

The E10 makes sense if...

  • Someone in the house relies on powered medical equipment
  • You work from home and an outage means lost income
  • You're done throwing out a freezer full of food after every storm
  • You have rooftop solar, or want it, and want it working when the grid isn't

If you just need the fridge and phones covered, a portable solar generator does that for a fraction of the price, and we'll tell you so. See the portable lineup →
